Meet the Trainer

My name is Alex Gonzalez, the Capitol City Dog Trainer. Since I was a kid, I have always had a love for dogs, and helping solve challenges between families and their pets. I grew up with multiple dogs in my household and learned the love of caring for animals from my idol, Steve Irwin. I began training our family dog and have never looked back.

I have successfully completed the prestigious Advanced Obedience and E Touch Course through the International School for Dog Trainers, under the stewardship of James Hamm, the Lone Star Dog Trainer, one of the top 10 dog trainers in the United States.

I am an active member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), which enables me to continue to be on the leading edge of canine discovery, learning, and teaching. I look forward to sharing my experience and love for dogs with you!
